MEET YOUR DOULA
Experienced hands. A mother's heart.
The early days with a new baby can be beautiful, tender, and a lot to carry. You deserve support through all of it.
I’m Antonesha Rios, the founder of Baby Bumps Doula Services LLC. With seven years of professional doula and newborn care experience—and my own experience as a mother—I bring practical care and a calm presence to your home.
Since starting Baby Bumps in 2019, my focus has been simple: helping families feel cared for as they get to know their baby. I listen to what matters to you, respect your choices, and meet you where you are.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING
Let’s make things clearer.
Questions are welcome. This is a good place to start.
A postpartum doula offers practical and emotional support after your baby arrives. That can include newborn care guidance, feeding support, a chance to rest, and light tasks related to baby care. We discuss your priorities so support feels useful for your family.
How is newborn care different from postpartum doula support?
Newborn care focuses on your baby's daily or overnight needs, such as diapering, soothing, and feeding routines. Postpartum doula support also centers the parent's adjustment and recovery. The two can overlap, and your plan can include both.
Can you help if I'm breastfeeding or using formula?
Yes. Support is respectful of how you choose to feed your baby, including breastfeeding, pumping, formula, or a combination. For overnight care, we discuss how you want feeds handled. Medical or specialized lactation concerns should be addressed with the appropriate healthcare professional.
Do you support twins?
Yes. Twins support can include hands-on newborn care, help organizing care routines, and working alongside parents. We'll talk about both babies' needs, the help you already have, and the times when another set of hands would be most useful.
When should I reach out?
You can reach out while pregnant to plan ahead, or after your baby arrives when you have a clearer sense of what you need. Share your due date or baby's age and your preferred timing. Scheduling depends on availability.
Where do you provide care, and what does it cost?
Baby Bumps Doula Services focuses on families in Houston and Katy, Texas. Share your location so we can discuss travel and fit. Pricing is quoted individually based on the type of care, schedule, and your family's needs.
Is this medical care or sleep training?
Doula and newborn care services are nonmedical support. They don't replace your pediatrician, obstetric clinician, or mental health provider. Newborn routines are approached gently and discussed with your family; care is not presented as a guarantee that your baby will sleep through the night.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALL ALONE
Your support starts with a conversation.
Tell me a little about your family and what would make the early weeks feel easier. We can start with your questions and build a plan together.
